Tally Charts:
4 Points	The charts are filled out correctly and the student answered the question correctly according to the tally marks.
3 Points	Most of the charts are filled out and all of the questions are answered.
2 Points	Most of the charts are filled out, but some of the questions are not answered.
1 Point	The charts are not filled out and the questions are not answered.
Comparison Statements:
4 Points	The student successfully completed all three of the comparison charts. Compared results with 10 students.
3 Points	The student successfully compared his results with 9 other students in class and filled in the three charts.
2 Points	The student successfully compared his results with at least 7 other students in class and filled in the three charts.
1 Point	The student successfully compared his results with 6 or fewer students in class and filled in the three charts.
Mealworm Diagram:
4 Points	Student correctly drew and labeled all 7 parts in diagram. Included number of divisions in thorax and abdomen. Titled diagram. Used correct scientific vocabulary.
3 Points	Student correctly drew and labeled all 7 parts in diagram. Titled diagram. Used correct scientific vocabulary.
2 Points	Student correctly drew and labeled 5-6 parts in diagram. Diagram may or may not be titles. May or may not use correct scientific vocabulary.
1 Point	Student correctly drew and labeled less than 5 parts in diagram. Title missing. May or may not use correct scientific vocabulary.

3 Points	Made no more than two mistakes drawing and labeling life cycle and body parts.
2 Points	Made no more than four mistakes drawing and labeling the life cycle and body parts.
1 Point	Made five or more mistakes when drawing and labeling the life cycle and body parts.
Venn Diagram:
4 Points	Labeled the diagram correctly. Listed at least 4 likenesses and 4 differences.
3 Points	Diagram was not labeled correctly. Listed at least 3 likenesses and 3 differences.
2 Points	Diagram was not labeled correctly. Listed 2 likenesses and 2 differences.
1 Point	Diagram was not labeled correctly. Listed 1 likeness and 1 difference.
