Dear Sir,

I am in the process of retiring and would like to move to a different climate. I like cold, windy winters as I like to light the fireplace and read on those long, cold winter nights. I do not mind warm summers, but tornadoes scare me. The average temperature of 40-60 degrees would be great. I like to hang out clothes on the line, rather than use the clothes dryer.

Would you please research the weather in different areas of the United States and suggest a region that would meet this criterion?
