The CMS Site Council has
been working hard the last two years to launch a parent teacher
organization for the middle school.
Currently, PALS sponsors the
elementary school, and the Cardinal Club takes care of CHS. We now have
an organization
dedicated exclusively to the middle school! Here
are some examples of the activities we have done this year:

Academics: Each 9 weeks the group has sponsored something special for students on the Honor Roll.
The first 9 weeks it was a breakfast, second nine weeks students got to pick a prize from
a prize box, and third nine weeks we had a cookie and pop break during lunch. -
Athletic/Activities: Locker signs for academic and athletic teams Posters for community recognition

Volunteer coordination: Maintain database of those interested in volunteering Coordinate volunteer efforts with teachers and faculty

Special Events: Standard of Excellence Recognition Receptions following music concerts 8th grade promotion reception
