§         Write procedures.

§         List in order each thing that will be done.

§         Control variables.

§         List the materials needed.

 

  1. Test the hypothesis.

§         Follow procedures.

§         Make observations.

§         Collect data in a notebook.

 

  1. Organize the data.

§         Make a chart, graph, or table of the procedures or results.

§         Use pictures or photographs to show the procedures or results.

§         Write a summary of what happened in the experiment.

 

  1. State conclusions

§         Share what has been learned
