Automated Assessment with Rubrics - This Web site, constructed by the Stone Middle School in Florida, addresses the issue of using technology for authentic assessment. The site provides background information, recommendations for rubric construction, and information on using technology as a vehicle for assessment.

Chicago Public Schools Rubric Bank - In The Rubric Bank, you will find a wide variety of performance assessment scoring rubrics. These are examples of scoring rubrics that have been used by schools, districts and state departments of education throughout the country. The rubrics may be used as is, or they may be combined and modified in any way that is appropriate for your students.

MarcoPolo  - The MarcoPolo program provides no-cost, standards-based Internet content for the K-12 teacher and classroom. Online resources include panel-reviewed links to top sites in many disciplines, professionally developed lesson plans, classroom activities, materials to help with daily classroom planning, and a powerful self-contained search engine.

Massachusetts Board of Education - On this site you will find open-response questions that were included on the Spring 1999 Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) tests, the accompanying scoring guides, and samples of student work. The questions, the scoring guides and the corresponding student work provide a picture of the expectations for student performance on the MCAS tests.
