Students will do an exploratory lab where
they have to take a bag of various objects and classify those using colors,
shape, texture, or some other characteristic. Next, they will be given 6
leaves and classify them in a similar fashion. |

Students will do a lab in which they will
dissect, identify, and then cook mushrooms as an exploratory lab. Use burners in the lab. Be aware of hot
plates and splattering while preparing fungus. |

Seed dispersement. (Take a seed and modify
it so it will be dipersed among nature.) 2.)

Inquiry wheat germination lab. How can I get my wheat to germinate
faster? |
This will lead into the camping trip
activity known as tree classifying. Each pair of students is
given a key then they will go on a hike and look for marked trees, then classify
them and name each. |
