Old Business

Gatorade Scrimmage:
The scrimmage took place on Friday, August 29. Sheila said Thanks to all those that came out and helped. She mentioned that it was slow at first but went well over all. Sheila mentioned that we might consider selling candy next year because no one had candy available for the kids.

Room Parent Meeting/Party lists:
Rene' Dunn & Lori Johnson stated that the meeting went well. Party lists have been sent home. Questions were brought up about exactly what a room parent's job is.

Movie Night:
Will take place this Saturday at 6:30. Showing Speed Racer in the Multipurpose Room.

T-shirts:
Ann Sigwing discussed that she was not happy with any of the designs that were given to her so she will be designing her own design for our t-shirts. She is trying to get the ball rolling so that we can sell them before the holidays, possibly even during Come Home for Christmas. Ideas were brought up about where else they could be sold, possibly at open house or at other events. Questions were asked about how many to orderwe still have approximately 20 left of the old ones. Diane Rich will research to see how many were ordered last time and when they were ordered.

Locker Angels:
Sheila stated that she had asked Andra Jarmer to help 2nd grade and Bonnie Young offered to help in 4th grade. She also stressed the importance of making sure that every student receives a locker angel.

Directories:
Lori Johnson and Jolene Inskeep will get the directories to Margaret Terrell as soon as possible to be placed in the office for sale for $1.00. Remarks were made that this maybe needs to be part of the Teacher liaison's job description since they are already working with addresses and phone numbers for the Room Parents lists. Jolene was also asked to bring the directories to future PALS meetings so that parents could purchase them there.

Website:
Tyann Weiderstein has gotten the info together and the website is in the process of being updated. The website will consist of upcoming events, meeting dates, meeting minutes, officers names and numbers, and teacher gift ideas. If there is any other information that you would like available, please let Tyann or Sheila know. Discussion was brought up to make t-shirts available on the website. Will be discussed at a future date.
