INSPIRATION FOR A PRESENTATION
Load program
·
Double-click on Inspiration
icon.
·
Type Spring Colors.
·
Press Shift+Enter
to end text entry. (This selects the
symbol)
·
Click on the Spring
Colors symbol to select
·
On the Diagram
toolbar, click on the down arrow of the New Symbol icon.
·
Type Yellow
·
Click on Spring
Colors to select.
·
On the Diagram toolbar, click on the up arrow
of the New Symbol icon
·
Type Green.
·
Click on Spring
Colors to select.
·
On the Diagram
toolbar, click on the right arrow of the New Symbol icon.
·
Type Pink
·
Click on Spring
Colors to select.
·
On the Diagram
toolbar, click on the left arrow of the New Symbol icon.
·
Type Purple.
·
Click on Yellow
to select
·
On the Diagram
toolbar, click on the upper right arrow of the New Symbol - Diagonal
icon
·
Type Sunshine.
·
Click on Yellow
to select
·
On the Diagram
toolbar, click on the lower right arrow of the New Symbol - Diagonal
icon.
·
Type Daffodils
Add ideas with the
RapidFire icon·
Click Green to
select
·
On the Diagram
toolbar, click the RapidFire button.
·
Type Branches.
Hit Enter
·
Type Buds.
Hit Enter.
·
Type Shamrocks. Hit Enter.
·
Click the Rapidfire
button to turn it off.
·
Click on Position
tool to turn on.
·
Click and drag the grabber hand in the direction you
want.
·
Click on Position
button to turn off.
·
Re-arrange by selecting the Selection Tool on
the drawing tool palette at the bottom of the screen.
·
Click on a symbol and
drag to the desired location.
·
Click on Purple
on the chart to select.
·
If the Symbol
Palette is not showing, select VIEW Þ Symbol Palette from the menu bar.
Link the unconnected symbols to show how they
relate to other ideas.
·
On the diagram toolbar,
click the Link button.
Click on Spring Colors to select.·
Pull down and select a library or shape.
Change the fill color of the symbols.
(This will not show if
you have a filled symbol from the previous procedure).
Change the color of the links.
·
Click on a color. (A darker color for contrast).
Change the arrowheads of the links.
·
Select the style of your choice.
·
Go to EFFECT Þ Line
Thickness Þ Triple
Thickness on the menu bar
Changing the color of the background.
Click on the Outline button.
Checking the spelling.
Previewing & printing documents.
·
Click on the magnifying glass to zoom in.
·
Go to File and Templates
·
Be sure you are in Outline view
Importing the Presentation into PowerPoint (Note:
Only the outline, not the graphics, will be imported.)
·
Open PowerPoint
·
Click on the drop down box beside Files of type
