Student Responsibilities

 

1. Be sure that all students and parents have signed the Acceptabl Use Policy (AUP). 
2. Teach students responsibility. 
1. Review the AUP with students
2. Use the Back button or close the browser if there is a problem
3. Never give personal information over the Internet

 

Teacher Options

 

1.      Students type the URLs

2.      Provide students with a floppy disk with bookmarked sites (see Favorites)

3.      Provide students with a floppy disk in Word with bookmarked sites

4.   Create a hot list and save as a web page

5.      Use safe Search Engines

6.      Allow open access to the Internet with web searches

 

Middle School and below - Use kid-safe search engines
