Making Silhouettes with Paint

• File ► Open the picture that you wish to cut out
• Click on the Magnifier icon
• Move the box so it is over the area you want to cut out
• Click on the Free Form Select icon
• Carefully draw around the area that you want to cut out
• If the image you see is the entire square rather than the section you cut out, Image ► and uncheck Draw Opaque
• Edit ► Copy (or Ctrl C) to copy the section
• File ► Open to open the picture that you want to paste it into
• Edit ► Paste (or Ctrl V) to paste the section
• Move the segment around to where you want it.
• File ► Save As and save the picture with a different name
