Connect to Previous Knowledge

It is helpful to think a little about the general area of interest.  What do you know?  What do you need to know?  Is this an area that interests you? 

·        Personal experience

      Ask yourself what you know about this subject and what you would like to know. 

If you find you don’t know very much about the subject, that doesn’t mean it would not be a good topic. 

 

·       Questioning

Ask others what they know.  Is it an area they might like to learn about?  What do they know about the area?   What areas do they know little about that you might include in your project?
