Comparison Contrast Chart

Open Word.

Insert a table with two columns and five rows.

Merge the cells in the first two rows of columns.

Add your labels for the chart and center.

Add the two topics to be compared and contrasted.

Add enough rows for all the ways they are alike plus three extra rows.

Merge the cells in each new row, one row at a time.

Add all the ways that they are similar and skip one blank row

Add a label for how they are different.

Split the last row into three cells.

Add the ways in which the topics are different in the right and left cells, with a term for how they are different in the middle cell.
