There are three basic ways to search for information on the Internet:

1. Search by URL

2. Search by subject list

3. Key word searching with a search engine

1. Search by URL

If you know the URL (Universal Resource Locator), you can go to the site by clicking in the Address box and typing in the URL. Try opening one of these sites:

2. Search by Subject List

Searching by list is much like browsing the stacks or card catalog of a library. You are simply looking at a list of topics to see what is available. Below are several sites that you can browse:
