To
Create a Path to Your Network Folder – Windows 98
· Log onto
the network as yourself

· Right
click on MY COMPUTER
· Click on Map
Network Drive
· Be sure
the Reconnect at Logon box is checked
· Type in
the Path box:
\\CHS2\Staff (ES) - for CES or \\CHS2\Staff
(HMS) - for CMS or CHS
· Click OK
· Click the X in the upper right corner to exit this
screen
You can now save files from most programs to your folder on the server by:

Go to File
Þ Save
As
· Go to the
drop down box beside Save In :

Select Staff (ES) on
Chs2 or Staff (HMS) on Chs2
·
Double click your folder and then
double click the folder where you want to save files.

You can create a new folder by
clicking the Create New
Folder icon ![]()
This drive will allow you to pull up your files on any computer once you have logged on as yourself. It will also allow for more privacy as anything on your hard drive can be accessed by anyone on your machine.
