Student Directions:

You need to arrange the pictures in the Famous Americans Art Gallery.  Identify who the picture is and explain why the person is important in American history..

Stage 3: Plan Learning Experiences and Instruction

 

Learning Activities:

Have a resource person such as the city mayor dress like our current president and share information about him.

The students will become more knowledgeable about famous

people in history.

1.         Read stories about each person.

2.         Use a graphic organizer to discuss likes and differences.

3.         Make silhouettes.

4.         Make puppets of each person.

5.         Make Lincoln Log houses with pretzels.
