Student Directions:
You are on the playground and see someone bullying another student. Role play what you should to help resolve the problem. One of you will be the bully, one the person being bullied and one person will be the adult.

You should be empathetic, insightful, perceptive and responsive when dealing with the situation.

Read Bully Trouble by Joanna Cole. They will discuss what bully behaviors they see. They will role play possible solutions.

Students will summarize Hooway for Wodney Wat and list three friendly and three bully characteristics. They will indicate two ways that they could discourage the bully behaviors in the book. Students make cartoon with setting and solution.
