Assessment Summary:
Students will listen to a narrative story.  They will identify the beginning, middle and end of the story.  They will draw the main characters and the setting.

Student Directions:

You have been asked by a book company to check a new book to be sure it is complete before they start selling.  They are afraid that it is missing some parts.  Listen to the story.  Then arrange the pictures in the order that they happened in the story.  Then draw a picture of the setting where the story took place.  Next draw the main characters in the story.  Finally decide if you think this is a complete story and circle “Yes” or “No” at the bottom of your page.

Learning Activities:

Bring in a live fish to observe & discuss.  Discussion on types of fish.
