FAQs in a Word Processor

Have students create a FAQ for the topic. Depending on the students’ level of research skills and the amount of time the teacher wishes to devote to the project, you can either give the students the questions or have them develop their own.

This is also a good pre-writing activity if the questions are carefully selected. After students have completed the FAQs, students can then revise their products into an essay by converting the questions into topic sentences, adding an introduction, conclusion and transitions.
