Creating Links to Other Slides in PowerPoint
- Create
all of the slides for the presentation (It’s a good idea to have students
map out their links in Inspiration or Kidspiration before creating the
PowerPoint to get all the pages in mind). It doesn’t matter what order they are
in within the PowerPoint.
- Type
the text that will be the hyperlink to a slide.
- Insert ► Hyperlink
(or Ctrl K)

- Click
the Place in this Document
button
- Click
the number of the slide to go to
- Click
OK
- Repeat
until all the slides are linked.

- It
is a good idea to create a link back to the starting page at the end of
each chain of links to allow the viewer to get back to the start
quickly. Once the link is
created, copy and paste it onto other pages as needed.
