Creating Post It Notes in Word

You can easily print text or graphics on Post It Notes by creating a table with cells about the same size as your Post It Notes. (3 x 3 Notes, 2 x 1 ½ Notes).

Print the table and practice with it until you know how the paper needs to be placed in the paper drawer to print your images or text in the cells. Then place your Post It notes in the cells and print the page again.

Be sure that your Post It Notes are aligned so that sticky part is to the top of the sheet as it enters the printer. Otherwise, the notes may get caught in your printer.

This works well for sequencing activities so that students can arrange the notes in order.
